VIDEO: The Parish Giving Scheme in One Minute

The Parish Giving scheme has now been up and running successfully for some time.  During this period of 'lock down' it has become a lifeline for our church finances, as we continue to receive your regular donations directly into our bank account

If you usually donate through the envelope scheme you may be interested to know that this week the PGS launched a ‘donate by phone’ option meaning givers don’t even have to complete paperwork anymore. You can simply pick up the phone and begin giving to the parish each month with a simple phone call.

One of the PGS administrators will take you through the sign up process – this normally takes around 15 minutes. You will need to have the following information to hand:

• Personal bank account details

• The name of the parish  - Parish of Jarrow and Simonside

• They will need to confirm if you want to increase you gift in line with inflation each year

• Confirm if you are eligible for Gift Aid

              • The PGS code for the parish – 130613120
